Collaborations in the USA

IDRF collaboration efforts in the USA are fairly simple and straightforward. IDRF always looks for ways to maximize donations for supporting and monitoring its projects in India. IDRF also minimizes its administrative costs in managing funds. Having established an impeccable track record of its creditability and transparency as a U.S.-based public charity dedicated to India, IDRF is a valuable collaborator for non-profit community, professional organizations, and for-profit businesses who wish to support the development of needy/poor masses in India.

IDRF Collaborators
IDRF works with a variety of organizations to collaborate in various aspects such as fundraising, funding projects in India and propagating the concept of Nar Seva Narayan Seva (Service to Humanity is Service to God). IDRF has been effective over the past two decades in cultivating valuable collaborations leading to accomplishment of IDRF’s mission.

IDRF continuously looks forward to creating further collaborations with charitable foundations, Indo-American charities; Indo-American ethnic, cultural, and professional organizations, in addition to business corporations through which IDRF can enhance contributions to the poor and needy in India, the ultimate beneficiaries of IDRF’s efforts.

Business Corporations
Many business corporations from diverse sectors have matching gift programs for their employee’s donations, and IDRF has been receiving such matching gifts from numerous corporations (such as AT & T, Abbott, Amgen, Bristol Myers-Squibb, eBay Foundation, Goldman Sachs, Google, IBM, Intel, Liberty Mutual, Liz Claiborne Inc, McAfee, Microsoft, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Pfizer Foundation, Sun Microsystems and The McGraw-Hill Companies).

Charitable Organizations and Gift-Fund Foundations
This includes various community-based foundations, as well as different chapters of United Way and America’s Charities.

Many other tax-exempt charities, whose charter restricts them from directly sending funds outside of the U.S., also collaborate with IDRF, besides gift-fund foundations such as Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, and Atlantic Trust.

Ethnic/Cultural/Professional Organizations
Especially in the event of disasters such as earthquakes, cyclones, and floods, donors/members of many faith-based charitable organizations have collaborated with IDRF for transmitting their donations to serve the affected people in India. Such collaborations are continuing because of IDRF’s impeccable track record.
