Who should I make the check payable to?

IDRF accepts personal checks or corporate checks for contributions. Please make the check payable to "IDRF." IDRF strongly recommends not sending any cash contributions. Please send your contributions as check or Money Order.

Do I need to send any paper work?

To ensure your contribution goes to theIDRF supported project of your choice, indicate the name of the organization on the memo line of your check or in a cover letter form and send it to IDRF. If you do not indicate an organization, IDRF reserves the right to treat your donations as part of general fund, which is distributed to IDRF sponsored projects.

Will IDRF issue receipts for my donations?

All donations $250 (as per IRS requirements) will get the receipt from IDRF. Receipts for donations less than $250 are available upon request. Please indicate your request for a receipt in your correspondence.

When will I get the receipt from IDRF?

Donors will get the receipt from IDRF in less than 60 days after the receipt of your check . If you have not received the receipt from IDRF after 60 days please contact IDRF. Please mention date and address where you mailed the donation to expedite the investigation.

My corporation matches my donations. How can IDRF help with matching?

IDRF is a registered 501 © (3) charity. Hence it is eligible to receive matching from many corporate matching programs for employee donations. Please fill out the employee portion of the matching form and mail it with your donations. IDRF volunteer will fill out the charity section and will forward the forms to corporations for matching.
